EyePromise Screen Shield Teen to Protect your Child’s Eyes

My kids love to play video games and watch videos on their cell phones. It’s the “modern” teenager nowadays. Their free time is spent texting and investing and logging time on their phones and devices. It’s just the way it is and I don’t see it changing anytime soon. It’s how teens connect and communicate with each other. Gone are the days of long phone call conversations. Now it’s all about these small little devices in their hands. And that’s just the very thing that concerns me, their devices are small and my 4 teen sons are constantly straining their eyes when they’re watching and playing and texting. I’m excited to share about EyePromise Screen Shield Teen with you today to help you (and your kids) out.

EyePromise

It never occurred to me just how much it was causing issues until this past October. My son Alex kept telling me that his eyes hurt. He wears glasses, so I thought maybe his prescription was getting a little old and that he heeded a new one. I immediately brought him in for an exam eye and our eye doctor said that there was some irritation going on, most definitely from eye strain. The culprit? His cellphone and the XBOX. Alex had been spending a prolonged amount of time on his screen(s) and it wasn’t good. When I reached out to some other moms in my area, they had said that they were worried about the same thing with their kids, too.

EyePromise

Since I have 4 other kids that I’m worried about this happening to as well, I’m happy to pass along information about a product that I just recently found out about through a friend. It’s called EyePromise ® Screen Shield™ Teen and it was created to help protect children’s eyes from that strained or tired feeling due to prolonged screen time. Whether our children are playing games, reading e-books, texting, watching videos or writing papers, being online for a prolonged amount of time can cause strain on their eyes. It’s something that as adults we deal with, too. But the difference is, we never had to deal with this throughout our entire lives. I love that this vitamin is designed to help teens NOW.

EyePromise Screen Shield Teen

The good news is that the EyePromise Screen Shield Teen is a chewable eye vitamin that is:
• Non-synthetic, with all-natural zeaxanthin
• Can be taken alongside a multivitamin
• Doctor recommended

There are 5 components of EyePromise Screen Shield Teen that jumped out to me as a parent:

  • It contains zeaxanthin and lutein, both critical antioxidants necessary for protecting against the effects of screen time.
  • The formula helps reduce the effects of digital screens on the eyes.
  • It’s an essential vitamin in the production of the glue that holds the cells in the eyes and brain together.
  • It’s an essential vitamin that protects cells throughout the body from damage and has a positive effect on immune health.
  • It’s an essential mineral important for metabolism and eye health.

I mean, when you stop and think about the effects of eye strain, it’s scary. Eye strain from hours of screen time can result in eye irritation, dryness, fatigue or blurred vision, and such problems are increasingly common, according to a new report. Let’s face it, we all know that kids (of all ages) are quickly becoming more tech-savvy each and every day, and that’s not changing. If anything, it’s getting stronger and stronger with each passing day. And it’s mind boggling to share this, but 69% of kids’ screen time usage is not going to change, but their eyes may suffer because of it.

Kids need eye protection and that’s where EyePromise Screen Shield Teen can help! I highly recommend you giving this a try for your teens and seeing how it works for you.

Interesting product…I don’t know how much I believe in its effects, but if it works for you and your kids, that’s good. Personally, I use blue light blocker glasses when I look at screens for a long time and I think it helps.

wow, didnt know this product existed. My daughter uses glasses and contacts already due to another eye condition, but I worry about her straining her eyes even more with the use of her cellphone and video games and laptop. I see many of her friends that never had eye issues getting glasses now, and the doctor told us it was all due to the eye strain and damage that technology can do.
