Best Thing to Clean Mirrors

I use my mirror every single day to shoot fashion videos. I’ve become a stickler for making sure it’s clean because when it’s not, it’s like a neon sign! I wanted to share some options when it comes to the best thing to clean mirrors. You’ll keep them clean quickly and easily.

When it comes to cleaning your mirrors, I bet it’s something you don’t normally don’t do on a regular rotation. It’s one of those things that you think about doing, but don’t always do. I’ve often wondered what the best thing to clean mirrors was because it seems like all my mirrors get dirty quick.

I should phrase that differently, they’re not so much as dirty, they’re smudged. Whether it’s my kids brushing their teeth and toothpaste (ugh!) flicking onto the mirror. Whether it’s fingerprints all over (which I don’t know how those get there!). Whether it’s makeup or shaving cream or hairspray or lotions, it’s there and annoying.

I really like to keep my mirrors clean because (honestly) we use them a lot at home. There’s one mirror in our house that I literally use every single day for my fashion pics. I’ve given up begging and asking the kids and my husband to shoot my photos, so I just do selfies in the mirror. I need it CLEAN (and if it’s not, I hear about it from readers!).

The best thing to clean mirrors is (first) to keep on it and keep them clean, but I really wanted to share the best thing(s) to actually clean them with. It’s important to know what works so that you can make sure you keep up with it.

Believe it or not when it comes to the best thing to clean mirrors, it’s super simple. I feel like we all think we need to go out and buy these expensive products, but that’s not the case. You don’t even need specific branded products, you can buy whatever you feel comfortable with.

Steps for Cleaning Your Mirrors:

Step #1: Do you have rubbing alcohol at home? Pop a little bit on a paper towel (I even use toilet paper!) and wipe away some dirty spots. For me it’s literally makeup and toothpaste and fingerprints. I feel like that’s the ONLY thing that’s every on my mirrors.

Step #2: Wait for it to dry and then use a glass spray to clean the rest. I’m partial to Windex because it’s just what I’ve always used, but you can use whatever you prefer.

Windex Original Glass Cleaner is a great solution for lightening, brightening and sparkling your home. It starts working on dirt, grime, fingerprints and other messes even before you wipe. Give Life a Sparkle with Windex cleaners!

Use to clean: windows, mirrors, glass and more.
