I’m all about bright and bold colors and patterns because many of my clothes are neutral colors. I also think it just adds a POP to an outfit. Met me walk you through each style below on How to Wear a Knotted Headband:

Style (1): The easiest of all, wear your hair down. This one shouldn’t be tough for anyone. I love brushing my hair straight and smooth (or wearing it wavy and wild) for an easy headband style. I personally love that it holds my bangs back and is great to wear when I’m out and about. It amps up a hair style quickly and easily by adding in a headband.

Style (2): I love a good side braid with or without a headband. This is an easy one if you have longer hair because you can casually braid it to the side and then just add in your headband. I personally love this one because you can dress this style up a bit, too. It’s super easy and simple to do in your hair. If you’re feeling it, you could do a double braid on each side.

Style (3): This is more of a fun style! If you love bubble braids, bring them out to play with your knotted headband. I know when you’re thinking of how to wear a knotted headband this might not be your go to style, but it is a fun one to create for yourself. I feel like this is great to wear if you’re heading to the beach or to the pool It’s super casual and laid-back.

Style (4): I’m always asked about hair down hairstyles. I know it’s not always easy for everyone to do hair-up dos, so I wanted to showcase a really cute way answer the question how to wear a knotted headband with your hair down? What I love about this style is that even if you have shoulder length hair, you can still make this one work.

Take your hair and divide it into a small section on top and create a messy bun. I have a cute hair tutorial on how easy it is to do a messy bun, so just alter it for the upper section of your hair. It’s a super easy and simple style. I love tossing in my headband and just wearing it like that with my bun. It’s a chic and relaxed look.

Style (5): Take your hair and pop it in a super high ponytail! This is an easy hairstyle, too. I love this one because it takes all of the hair off my hair. It’s a “cool and refreshing” style to wear. What I love about this style is that you can toss on your knotted headband and the style goes from “basic” to “chic!”

This is when having headbands that are bright and bold come into play because it’s a cute way to really showcase some eye candy in your hair. I love this one because it’s neon yellow and it’s definitely bright. It’s where your eyes go to while you’re wearing it.

Style (6): You knew this style was coming! Take all of your hair and toss it in a high bun on the top of your head! Cinch it was an elastic band and viola! You’re done! What I love about this style is that it’s both chic and casual at the same time. I’m all about a messy bun on the top of my head at any time during the day, so wearing it with a headband is just extra easy and extra on the eyes!
