Ever since starting my Fashion Over 40 group (again, not just for 40 year olds!) for women, I’ve been getting a ton of questions about work clothes for women. What to wear? What’s out there? What’s appropriate? What do I need to add to my wardrobe? What’s reasonable? Where should I be shopping? I love these kinds of questions because it makes my “job” easier. The Nine West X Kohl’s Collection has landed at Kohl’s and it’s perfect for working women.

Work Clothes for Women

My love for Kohl’s has been a long time. I’ve shopped the Lauren Conrad Collection at Kohl’s for years. As a matter of fact – I still have all of my LC Floral Blouses hanging in my closet! I love them and have worn them season after season, year after year. The other cool thing about Kohl’s is that they have incredible prices. I feel like everything is always on sale there, which makes it easy and reasonable to shop for what you need or what you don’t need (always happen to me!).

Nine West x Kohl’s Collection TRY ON

I’ve been dying to go check out the Nine West x Kohl’s Collection because I’m a big fan of Nine West and of their spokesperson for the collaboration – CIARA! When I saw that she was part of this collab I immediately got excited to see what kinds of styles they would be releasing. If you’re a fan of Ciara you know that she’s a fashionista and always (ALWAYS) looks amazing. I knew she would rock this collaboration and make it gorgeous for women EVERYWHERE!

My initial thoughts about the Nine West x Kohl’s Collection? It’s full of bright colors. There’s plenty of styles for women to find (at least) one thing that they personally love. I feel like it was created with a working woman in mind. The fashions are classic and fashionable and just perfect for work. I also feel like they can (and do) double as great after work clothes, too… but I do feel that they truly are work clothes for women.

Work clothes for women – do you own a powersuit? I’m telling you right now – powersuit for the WIN. I’ve never owned a powersuit before, EVER. The second I put it on, I felt confident. I would also never, ever go for a color like this before – it’s bold, it’s bright and it’s right there. I can’t get over how amazing I felt in it. I usually don’t gush over clothes like this, so this was a big first for me.

The blazer and pants come in a variety of different colors. I loved this lava color, but there’s also black, green, blue, tan and some fun prints!

Sweaters are a great staple item to have for work. I love basic, classic sweaters that I can wear a variety of different ways.
