We got into soccer within the last couple of years with our daughter Victoria, so the International Champions Cup 2019 is a big deal for us because we’ve gotten more and more into soccer. Our boys never played, so this was truly the first time that we got into it with one of our little ones. Victoria fell in love with the sport and it was so great to see her get excited about this “new” sport.
Every single weekend we would show up with her ready to play. She would have her pink soccer ball and she would go off and run and try drills with the other girls. I loved seeing her come alive with the sport and get really into it week after week. When she scored her very first goal, it was monumental. She was over the moon with her new skills and I loved seeing this little soccer player emerge!
