I’m a planner fanatic! I love having a planner to write everything I have going on in my life within. I’m all about making sure appointments and schedules and to do lists are alive and well in my planner. With 5 kids you can only imagine how many things I’m constantly writing down and making sure are correctly put on the calendar. I usually have about 3 or 4 planners (no joke) brewing at once. I never use a digital calendar, it’s always a planner I can write in. I’ve become obsessed with the Golden Coil Planner which is a full customizable planner that is perfect for me. I’m excited to share all about it here today because it’s (honestly) awesome!

There’s something really cool about getting to create your very own planner. I love being able to decide what you need and what will work best for you and your life. Everyone’s lifestyle is different and unique and busy in its own distinct way, I love that a Golden Coil Planner helps keep your lifestyle moving and growing and organized.

I loved reading about how this company came to be, too! I always love hearing the beginning of the beginning stories.

Golden Coil is focused on creating individualized planners, notebooks, notepads, and other various planning products for people looking to simplify their planning process and plan the way they want to. Each order is created and fulfilled on-demand as all planners are completely customizable, with no two planners being the same (unless that is what you want).

The initial thoughts of Golden Coil came about as we, two sisters, searched for a Mother’s Day gift for our mother. We knew that we wanted to buy her a planner, but after searching our community and the web, we kept coming up short. After conversing, we found that we had two problems. 1) We could not agree on what made the perfect planner, and 2) We could not find a planner that could fulfill our necessary requirements.

With this knowledge, we found that the only way we could create our mother’s perfect planner, was to allow her to create it herself. We decided that we wanted to build a product and website that allowed everyone to have exactly what they wanted in a planner– we wanted to give everyone the ability to create their perfect planner.  – Trisha and Michelle

This is where I started with mine, I really wanted to make sure I had a daily planner that I could easily write all of my stuff on for the day to day. I love having lots of space to write on, I don’t like feeling like I need to cram everything into a tiny weekly space.

On the planner front – first you get to choose your cover. You can choose between Linen (my fave) and Leather.

Then you fill out your “Fill Form” – This will be the first page of your Planner and will include your full name, email address, phone number and a message.

Then you can input any of your contacts so they sync over and can be added to your planner.

From there you can add important dates / events – birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Then you decide your page layout. This is how I enjoy the true customizing because you can make it how you want it to be. I like mine minimal, I don’t like a ton of extra add-ons. I like it to be crystal clear and easy for me to read and fill out.

Then you choose how many pages you prefer. I stuck with 6 months. I like to plan ahead, but I also like it to be practical for me.

And then any additional add-ons that you can dream up, they have!

I’ve been telling people, too… you will find something for you. The have so many different options and styles. Also, if a planner isn’t your thing, you can customize a notebook, too. You go about the same steps and create it that way!

Make sure you take the time to see about creating an office space for yourself, too. If you have a nice and neat space for your work, it makes everything easier too. I’ve realized this a ton in my life and I love having a space that is all mine for work. This is a great read to become inspired and find one that speaks to you!
