Date Night Ideas on a Budget

I’m all about trying to find the best ideas for date nights on a budget. I know that when I first started dating my husband we had no money. We were in college, so we literally had no money. Our date nights consisted of the dining hall and then any activities that were going on at campus. I have to be honest, those were the most fun because we made fun out of it! We turned lemons into lemonade! If you only have the option to do certain things, you just make the best out of the situation!

My husband and I just started doing weekly date nights because now my sons will watch their younger sister. We used to go on dates before and have to pay an arm and a leg for a babysitter. Now? We just have to pay for our actual date! It’s actually a win win before the date night even begins! We’ve been trying to do some different things each week and not just do the same thing. Since we know we have limited time, we know we can’t be gone long and far, so I thought it would be fun to come up with some easy ideas that are cheap and can be quick to do!

Here’s what I wanted to share with you. 40 ideas for $40 or less. That’s right Date Night Ideas on a Budget. Some of these are seasonal and can (obviously) only be done at certain times of the year. Some of these you will love and some of these you won’t relate to doing. I just wanted to make sure I set you up with a list that would be helpful for you and hopefully give you some good ideas to get yourself out with your loved one!

I think these are great ideas, actually there is a drive in theater that operates seasonally about 15 miles from me, hubby and I go there during the summer months (our teenager often tags along as she loves the movies) and we love it. So sad that many drive in theaters went out of business. There are also some other ideas on there that I never thought of and will have to try!
