Best Graduation Gifts

It’s graduation time and I feel like this year in particular there are so many grads that I know! My nieces are graduating from high school. My son William is graduating from 8th grade. My daughter is graduating from Kindergarten. There’s lots of celebrations! I’m getting asked quite a bit lately about some best graduation gifts. I’m all about making something special and meaningful for the graduate in your life. Gifts like this will be remembered and kept forever because they mean something. I simply cannot believe my “little” William is graduating from middle school! Time is flying by and I want his gift to be something he will cherish.

I will never forget dropping William off on his first day of Kindergarten, I sat in the parking lot the entire time! I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I was nervous to leave him! He was my oldest son going off to school for the first time and it was all new territory for me. I laugh thinking back to how silly it seemed to sit in the parking lot (he had 1/2 day kindergarten) until he was done, but that was me then.

Fast forward to present day and my “little” guy is graduating from 8th grade! High School next year! I don’t know where the time has gone, it’s very bittersweet for me. My son William is a great kid and has worked so hard throughout his entire school life. I’m so proud of the man he’s turning into and I can’t wait to see what high school brings for him!

We’re celebrating BIG time for him right now! As the oldest of the McClelland bunch he’s our trail blazer! I wanted to do something special for him and showcase my William throughout the years as his 8th grade graduation nears.  I felt like when I was thinking about some of the Best Graduation Gifts, I wanted it to be something that would make him smile. I’m a big lover of capturing all the moments (as you know!). I thought it would be fun to gather some moments in photos for him and display them proudly for him, our family and his friends. Kodak Moments is the perfect resource to create perfect personalized gifts, greetings and décor to celebrate the special graduate in your life. I went to my local CVS and used the Kodak Picture Kiosk (which I use all the time for gifts for my parents and in-laws!) to create a personalized Graduate Photo Banner and print out (35) 5×7 photos of William since Kindergarten!

  1. I really think commemorative photos are always a great go-to gift idea, & these are great deals!

  2. I love personalized photo memories, I usually do some sort of book or collage for my daughter’s birthday. They also make a great gift idea. Congrats to both of your children who are graduating, mine is this year too!

  3. I would like to send some photos with my son when he goes to college. It amazing how quickly time goes by.

  4. I love the idea of a personalized photo graduation gift! It sounds like a wonderful way to commemorate such a special occasion. I would like to do this for my grandchildren when they have a graduation.
