As a life long New Englander, I can tell you that without a doubt of hesitation that you truly do feel like you’re on the docks of a Yacht Club. This resort – in a word – is SPECTACULAR. I truly just fell in love with Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and absolutely (positively) want to stay here with my family.

I had the opportunity to tour Disney World Resort properties last week with a bunch of influencers. It was an amazing chance to see what Disney World as to offer on the resort side of things. Not to mention – we also got to dine on some incredible food, too! What I love about being able to tour the different resort properties was the rare chance to get up close and personal with resorts I’ve been dying to see! I was truly dazzled by the features and benefits of the Disney World Resorts that we toured. I’m excited to be able to walk you through over the next couple of weeks the ones I got to check out and share with you what I loved about them!

Disney's Yacht Club Resort

First up!? You guess it… Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. This resort will delight you in the formal grace of a grand New England-style yacht club. I’m telling you, it was like being home and there was something really comforting and beautiful about that for me.

New England Echoes in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Oak floors, antique chandeliers, rich millwork and brass evoke memories of New England summer days in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.  Cast members in navy blue blazers greet guests as they check into the silvery-gray clapboard hotel.

The 621-room hotel offers luxurious suites, including presidential and vice-presidential suites.  Spacious rooms decorated in blues and whites carry through the nautical theme.  All have French doors that open onto porches or balconies.

The rooms… oh, mama mia… the rooms! We got to tour one of the “standard” rooms with queen double size beds which sleeps 4 comfortably and 5 with a cot. The rooms are classic and timeless and stunning. All of the decor in the rooms give a true nautical feel with gorgeous creams and navys and silver-plated touches. The rooms were big and bright and just perfect to make families feel comfortable and right at home while staying there.

Just look at how cozy the beds look! I just want to jump right in! Even the curtains have constellations on them! Truly just top notch on every single aspect!

I also love how the beds are raised so you could fit luggage underneath! This just gives families more room to spread out and not feel to confined.

Even the touches with the end tables are perfect! They look like treasure chests to me! Just sturdy and high-quality in strength for the guests. I love the color and want one for my house!

The bathroom has a double sink and gives guests ample room to do all their personal amenities while there. I love that when you’re staying with your family you have a ton of room to spread out even in the bathroom! I’m obsessed with a double sink, it’s just fantastic and as you can see – the hotel leaves you some shampoos, conditioners, creams and mouthwash, too! Love this so much!

You have it all in one of the standard rooms, so much space and just a gorgeous ambiance! But wait – there’s more! I also had the lucky opportunity to check out the Admiral’s Suite.

I just need to say that the Admiral’s Suite would be a dream come true. A true DREAM COME TRUE. The grandeur of this suite is just stunning. I could’ve stayed here all day! It was exactly the kind of home decor that I love and that I crave. I actually sent photos to my husband saying that this was exactly what I wanted out house to look like!

Disney's Yacht Club Resort

The Admiral Suite (2000 square feet) overlooks the Board Walk and Crescent Lake and is decorated in shades of navy, cream, and gold. There’s a hardwood foyer with half bath as well as two living areas, both with hardwood flooring and nautical-style area rugs—one turreted with hardwood flooring and porthole-style windows overlooking Crescent Lake with sofa, four easy chairs, and round coffee table; the other with a sectional sofa loaded down with soft pillows, two easy chairs, coffee table, credenza and oversized TV, desk, and gas fireplace. A separate eight-person dining room adjoins a small wet bar/service kitchen with a service entrance. The master bedroom offers a king bed with light bronze leather headboard, easy chair, bureau, and TV. The white/gray marble master bath is an accessible one with roll-in shower, two sinks, deep soaking tub, and an open toilet area in an alcove. A second bedroom with two queen beds is a standard size room with upgraded decor with it’s own additional entrance. Balconies are found in each bedroom and off the living area with a stand-up, one-person balcony off the dining area.

I mean… talk about feeling like an ADMIRAL! Look at this suite!

An expansive croquet lawn at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort goes with the relaxed, leisure spirit of the 1870s, and the resort’s marina lighthouse welcomes guests home after a day in the Walt Disney World theme parks.
