Good Luck Foods on New Year’s Day

Good Luck Foods on New Year’s Day

For the last 8 years my mom has created a New Year’s Day feast filled with Good Luck Foods for the year ahead! My mom loves history and research, so she took it upon herself to look back and see what foods have traditionally been known as the best foods to eat on New Year’s Day. She wanted to create a fun-filled afternoon feast for her entire family and give everyone the gift of LUCK as the New Year kicked off! It’s become one of my most cherished traditions because it’s something that is special and important, but also something that is filled with tradition from so many different cultures. My mom has discovered dozens and dozens and dozens of fun New Year’s Day traditions and fun and recipes all that promote LUCK in the New Year ahead. I thought it would be fun to share some of these with you on the blog because it’s something that we genuinely love to do as a family on New Year’s Day… and (let’s face it!) who can turn down a little extra luck for the New Year ahead! Good Luck Foods on New Year’s Day – let’s have some fun!
