Blueberry Almond Butter Smoothie
I’m always on the hunt for some easy and delicious smoothies to make! My sons love smoothies after school, it’s a delicious and hearty snack. One of the things I love most about smoothies is that they are super easy to make. It doesn’t take lots of ingredients to make a smoothie, so this is right up my alley! How amazing is that you can toss ingredients into a blender and then mix something up that’s FABULOUS!
Are you ready to see how you can make this yummy Blueberry Almond Butter Smoothie?
It has my name all over it! Blueberries? Check. Almond Butter? Check.
Yields: 2 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 0 minutes | Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups frozen banana chunks
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (substitute with milk of choice)
½ cup frozen blueberries
1 Tablespoon almond butter
1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until incorporated. Add a handful of ice for a
thicker smoothie or extra almond milk to thin the smoothie out depending on desired
consistency.
2. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
