WHY EVERY WOMAN NEEDS A GIRLS’ NIGHT IN WITH “BOOK CLUB”

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post with Paramount Pictures.

I’m going to say it, I constantly work.
I work during the day.
I work when the kids go to bed.
And since I work online – I truly – can (and could) work 24/7.

Fortunately, I know when to scale it back and love spending time with my husband and my 5 kids. Being with them makes me happy and they truly give me the motivation and inspiration to work as hard as I do.

But here’s the thing… I love and appreciate a good and necessary GIRLS’ NIGHT.

Girl's Night In - Book Club

I moved to the same town I grew up in last summer, and for the first time in my entire adult life I finally feel home. My kids love our new town. My husband loves our new town. And I absolutely, positively love raising my kids in the same town I grew up in. The cherry on top for me has been meeting an incredible group of mom friends. They have become my anchor here and (thank goodness!) they all know how to have a good time! It’s amazing to be an adult woman and have a great group of girls that you just love to be with and be around. They’re there for you no matter what… good day, bad day, neutral day – they’re there! I feel so blessed to have a great group and we LOVE having our monthly GIRLS’ NIGHT IN hangout sessions.

Recently my girlfriend Danielle came over and we had a Girls’ Night IN and watched the movie, “Book Club.” Download the film on iTunes and make plans to watch it at home this weekend.

The release includes hilarious bonus content, like the making of the film, deleted scenes, and more!! The best news, too – Blu-ray is available to purchase August 28th! Mark your calendar!

I saw the movie in the theater and fell in love with it! I’m a gigantic fan of Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen.

What I love the most about the movie is that it’s all about female friendship, making it a perfect film for a girls night in. These ladies are hilarious together and the movie really made me extra thankful for a good set of girls in my life! Danielle hadn’t seen the movie in the theater, so I thought it would be fun to invite her over and make my fun “signature” Girls’ Night In Wine Spritzer and enjoy the movie! We had the most perfect Girls’ Night In together – no kids, no husbands… JUST US!

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, you’re in for a BIG treat! Diane (Diane Keaton) is recently widowed after 40 years of marriage. Vivian (Jane Fonda) enjoys her men with no strings attached. Sharon (Candice Bergen) is still working through a decades-old divorce. Carol’s (Mary Steenburgen) marriage is in a slump after 35 years.

Four lifelong friends have their lives turned upside down to hilarious ends when their book club tackles the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey. From discovering new romance to rekindling old flames, they inspire each other to make their next chapter the best chapter.

Since I just joined a Book Club this summer with Danielle… it was even more FUN to watch together!!

We laughed.
We teared up (a little!).
And we drank while we watched… I’m telling you, you need a Signature Drink! My White Wine Spritzer recipe is the best!

If you’re looking for a fun and easy DIY Drink Recipe… I’m obsessed with making a Wine Spritzer. It’s super duper easy! All you need is 3 ingredients:
White Wine – VERY Chilled (I opt for Pinot Grigio)
Club Soda – VERY Chilled
Strawberry / Lime / Lemon / Orange (Whatever Garnish you Prefer)

I’m telling you… grab your girlfriends and enjoy a NIGHT IN with “Book Club!” You will LOVE this movie and watch it over and over and over again!! Honestly – download the film on iTunes and make plans to watch it at home this weekend!! You’ll enjoy a fabulous night in… tell your girls to come in their jammies!! I loved having Danielle over to watch this one! We had such a fun time and loved every single second of just GIRL TIME!!

And… as most of you know about me, I am all about female empowerment. I adore that this movie shares the most important message that it’s never too late to live your life to the fullest, pursue goals, and to love. We NEED more movies like this for women!!

Watch it!
Love it!
Embrace it!
