Red Trench Coat

February is Heart Health Month! This is something that is VERY near and dear to my heart because my paternal grandfather passed away from heart disease at the young age of 48 years old. As an almost 40 year old woman, this really hits home to me. I’ve spent a great deal of my life watching my mother take care of herself so history doesn’t repeat itself with her. She was a great inspiration and I have led my life the same way, too. Lands’ End is celebrating by wearing RED… and this Red Trench Coat that I’m sporting in honor of red day is EVERYTHING! I’ve never owned a Red Trench Coat before and I’m in love!

Red Trench Coat – How it HELPS

Lands’ End is doing something wonderful this month through their Wear Red Campaign in support of the American Heart Association’s Life is Why We Give™ initiative. Through this special campaign, Lands’ End will help to raise awareness and funding to further support the American Heart Association’s mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Red clothing is a way to wear it loud and proud – Red Trench Coat is MY way of wearing it boldly right now.

With the purchase a red Women’s, Men’s or Kids item from the Red Collection, Lands’ End will donate 10 percent of the item purchase price to the American Heart Association. That’s amazing – right?

This is just incredible to me. I love seeing a brand I know and love doing something so meaningful and impactful. Bravo to Lands’ End for this wonderful campaign in giving back!

Lands’ End is asking everyone to join the movement and share photos on social media using hashtag #WearRed and #MyLandsEnd. For each photo from (today) February 2 through February 28, 2018, Lands’ End will donate $1 to the American Heart Association.

Red Trench Coat on National Wear Red Day

National Wear Red Day! I have mine on! It’s a chilly cold and rainy day in Rhode Island so my Red Trench Coat couldn’t be more perfect! It’s the exact layer I need to combat the winter mix today! It’s so bright and bold and just makes me smile!
