Daily Video: Visiting Claire’s Store for the First Time (Kid in a Candy Store)

Victoria is OBSESSED with bows (OK, JoJo bows in particular!), sparkle, glitter, makeup (yes, already!) and anything that is over-the-top GIRLY! I have been holding off on buying her any new bows or headbands because I honestly haven’t wanted to open Pandora’s Box yet! She has 4 JoJo bows and she just loves to rotate through them. She’s been begging for a “sparkling” one that she saw on YouTube and since she really does love them, I thought I could cave on this “one” thing! Not to mention – I had to shoot a Halloween segment and needed some products for it, so… a trip to Claire’s was a necessity!

I haven’t been into a Claire’s store in forever! Last time I was in one was with my nieces and that was years ago! With 4 older sons, Claire’s hasn’t exactly been a destination they’re begging me to go into!

But now with Victoria, it’s a must. 🙂

She was like a kid in a candy store. I literally couldn’t even video the entire thing because she was moving so fast I was afraid I was going to lose her – no joke! I kept telling her to STAY WITH ME! She was running around grabbing bows and ribbons and necklaces and you name it in her bag! It was amazing for her!

It was a fun-filled 30 minutes for her! I got what I needed and she got what she wanted!

I never thought a Claire’s trip would bring ME so much joy!!

Love it!

She’s adorable and it’s awesome she had such a great time. I only have boys, so this is an experience I won’t get!

This is not intended to sound judgy or rude, I’m a CPST and I noticed there are a few issues with her car seat that are putting her at risk for significant injury in a crash. If you want help correcting them, please feel free to email me privately or check out the Safe Kids website and see if a tech near you can help.
