A few weeks ago my mother and father introduced Victoria to the ANNIE movie. When I was her age I first watched it and fell in love with it, so my mom thought it would be fun to bring the magic of the ANNIE movie to Victoria, too (and my boys!).

She ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY loved it!

Victoria is in Love with the Annie Movie

Every single day we’re serenaded with Annie songs… “The sun will come out tomorrow… ” is one of her absolute faves to sing to the family. We actually caught her in our bathroom singing, “It’s a hard knock life…” and wiping the wall down! She’s taking this Annie music VERY seriously and it’s adorable and sweet and funny all at the same time.

My mother has seen this love of Annie emerge big time, so she thought it would be fun to buy Victoria an Annie costume – wig, locket and all! She showed up with it yesterday to surprise her and it was the cutest thing ever. Victoria didn’t take the costume off all day long!

As we went out yesterday afternoon, Victoria had her Annie costume on. What really struck me to the core was how everyone knew about Annie… from young to old. We were stopped in Dunkin Donuts by an elderly couple who were just taken by Victoria’s costume. They told is that their granddaughters loved Annie! It was super fun watching young girls giggle and wave to Victoria, too! It’s the kind of movie and character that really does make everyone smile.

I love that about Annie, she’s magical.

And so… my little Victoria is officially obsessed with Annie and officially singing every single song she can from the musical!
