There’s nothing like the ocean. And there’s nothing like Disney. Now combine the two and you have the best thing ever. Disney Fantasy Cruise is something that I’ve been dying to go on forever and ever. It’s been a bucket list item for years and when I had the opportunity to go aboard the Disney Fantasy Cruise – I jumped. I mean – I JUMPED AS HIGH AS CAN BE FOR THIS ONE!! Not to mention – I got to bring my kids, too!! In many ways a cruise feels home to me. I’ve lived in Rhode Island almost my entire life, so the ocean for me is a way of life. It can be beautiful. It can be rough. It can be calm. It can be many, many things.

For me personally, I couldn’t wait for our Disney Fantasy Cruise because I knew it would be very cool to be out at sea for an entire week! There’s something so peaceful about waking up in the morning to the ocean. I LOVED looking out our balcony and just seeing endless blue. We’re a HUGE nautical family, so it was comforting to me.

Our 1st FULL DAY at Sea aboard the Disney Fantasy Cruise was awesome! OK, the only bad thing about it was that Vera wasn’t feeling well because the sea was a little rough, but other than that… it was a perfect day! I had been excited for the day at sea because I knew my kids would be in awe of being out there in the middle of the sea!

These are the 9 things that made me smile about this video!!

1) First day enjoying breakfast at Cabanas! The food was sensational!

2) Meeting Ashley Eckstein! She’s the founder of Her Universe and the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars The Clone Wars.

3) Checking out Nemo’s Reef with Victoria! I think we went every single morning!

4) Watching William swim with Victoria! Melted my heart!

5) Taking Victoria to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (check out the full video!)

6) Dressing up for Formal Night and meeting the CAPTAIN!! How much fun it was to dress up and just enjoy a fancy evening!

7) Eating dinner at the Animator’s Palate! OMG! The most delish ever and AMAZING entertainment for the kids!!

8) Enjoying a John Cassidy show!! The entertainment was PHENOMENAL on the ship!! My kids LOVED John Cassidy the most!! They’ve been doing his tricks at school to their friends!

9) Late night noshing at Flo’s!! There is food available all the time, my kids took advantage of this immensely!!

Honestly… the 1st Day at Sea was just RELAXING.

It was the perfect time to forget about the stresses in our lives and just embrace the fact that we were on VACATION!!
