About a month ago I wrote a blog post about how much I love to work. Work for me is a happy place because I love what I do. It’s pretty plain and simple for me. Throughout my life I have had plenty of jobs that I didn’t like and my one wish and goal (always)… to find something I loved and just try to be the best I could be at it.
When I found the digital world, it was like finding home. I found my passion. I found what it was that I was meant to do. A perfect fit. And so... every single day I hustle at my job because I want to keep growing. And Vera Sweeney is the exact same way, which is truly the special secret ingredient to our business (and best friend) partnership.
We’ve been brewing this idea for so long, I can’t even tell you when it started. We have started a FB group called “Permission to Hustle.” We’ve always called ourselves “hustlers” because it’s what we do, it’s what we know and it’s what we love. We have forever been inspired and motivated by the community of women entrepreneurs online and off. The common denominator of all of us is the simple fact that we work hard and we hustle. You need to hustle if you run/own your own business. Everyone’s “hustle” is different, but still… most likely, we have the same end goal… to love what we do and go after our dreams.
