So how does it work?

Do I get a big box of books like I have? 

You (the subscriber) or your gift recipients will receive a book-a-month in the mail sent to your home or work  (or a book 4 times or 6 times per year).  The book box I’m showing in today’s video is a sample set – meaning it is all the books I would normally receive over a year in the mail but Just The Right Book created this special box with all my books exclusively for me and my blog and of course you, my readers, so you can see how incredible they are at matching books and readers!

What’s the story behind JUST THE RIGHT BOOK?

In 2009 Roxanne Coady, owner of the Connecticut bookstore RJ JULIA BOOKSELLERS realized that readers don’t always have the time to go to a bookstore and pick out a book.  Not to mention gifting a book can be daunting – how do you shop for your voracious reading husband,  your best friend and your work colleague? In a world dominated by algorithms Roxanne and her team discovered they could be THE HUMAN ALGORITHM, the personal bookseller readers everywhere were craving. And so Just The Right Book was born. Created in 2009, Roxanne’s personalized book of the month club Just the Right Book (www.justherightbook.com) is one of the very first book subscription boxes!  Today it has one of the highest renewal rates in the crowded subscription world.   AND years later JTRB still receives handwritten letters describing the pleasure of a new book arriving via mail to delight, surprise and seduce that reader to drop everything, tear open the package, pour a cup of tea (or glass of wine!) and sink into their favorite chair to experience the pleasure of a great read handpicked just for her or him.
