September is my New Year.
School is back in session. There’s new routines at home. I’m finally organized and *kind of* have everything together. It’s my favorite-favorite-favorite time of year!
In September there’s also ONE other HUGE thing I’m doing (which usually terrifies my husband) throughout the month. I’m shopping. I’m shopping like a crazy lady!
Why?
There are some INCREDIBLE deals throughout the month of September that I LOVE to jump on for my family. I’m all about shopping, but I’m a smart shopper – I hate paying full price for things I love for me or my kids or my husband (or anyone else for that matter!) if I don’t have to! I was having this conversation last week with a girlfriend of mine and she asked me the “million dollar question” – WHAT ARE YOU BUYING?
I thought it would be easy to outline a quick list of things that are smart and great to buy during this time of year, specifically in SEPTEMBER. Keep this in mind, I buy and store stuff for next year, too. I also buy things now for Christmas gifts and birthday presents for people in mu family. I always think ahead, so even though I’m dishing out money right now – I’m saving it in the long run.

1. Bathing Suits – Summer is over, it’s time to stock up! We’re a HUGE swimming family, so this really is the best time of year for us to grab the best deals.
2. Swim Towels – Same logic as “Bathing Suits” above. Stock up big time for our entire family.
3. Flip Flops
4. Summer Sandals – This is usually when I stock up on my sandals for next year. I always go basic and strappy because you can’t go wrong with that style.
5. Crocs – There are always amazing sales happening over on Crocs after the summer during September, jump on over!
6. Boogie Boards
7. Sun Tan Lotion / Sunblock
8. Outdoor Grilling Equipment
9. Shorts
10. Summer Dresses – Which can still be work throughout the year with blazers / lightweight jackets, etc.

12. Laptops – School is back in session, there are some AWESOME TECH deals out there right now!
13. Back to School Supplies
14. Tees/Tanks – I stock up for all the kids for next summer! Basic things!
15. Luggage – The big travel rush is over right now, so stock up on luggage!

19. Beach Toys – I grabbed stuff last week for Victoria! The sales were INCREDIBLE! 99 cents for tons of stuff!
