Laundry Time – LG SideKick Giveaway!! #Giveaway

Laundry in the McClelland household is something I actually look forward to doing! Yes, you heard me correctly. I never get overwhelmed or annoyed with laundry. And believe me, I am the laundress in the McClelland house! Even with 5 kids, laundry doesn’t phase me… it’s just all about having the right “tools” to get the job done.

Last week on the blog I introduced you to the LG SideKick™!

It is for me, a laundry lifesaver.

If you take a quick look at my laundry needs, you’ll understand why this is a laundry lifesaver to me.

My 4 sons are competitive swimmers, so (at least) 5 nights a week I’m washing bathing suits. Bathing suits need to be carefully washed because you don’t want to ruin the material.

Let me toss in baseball uniforms for the boys, too!

My daughter is being potty trained right now, so that’s a whole different laundry need. Her clothing is so small and delicate, so I’m always aware of how I wash her items.

I workout 4-5 times a week and I always like to wash my workout/fitness clothing separately from the other laundry because it’s just different material. I like to wash it on it’s own active-wear cycle!

Then there’s the true delicate clothing – otherwise known as – intimates. These items I always pop in a separate cycle, too.

Here’s the thing about the laundry above, they’re all small loads. In every other aspect of my laundry life – towels, sheets, boys clothing, my husband’s clothing, my “regular” clothing, blankets, etc… laundry is serious business. I’m always running something in my house, which makes laundry a true around-the-clock activity.

But when it comes to the small loads, I need my LG SideKick.

The LG SideKick is compatible with all LG front-load washers since 2009. My front-loader still takes care of the big laundry loads, while now my LG SideKick takes on the smaller ones. The LG SideKick features 6 distinct cycles – normal, intimates, hand wash, active wear, Rinse + Spin and TurboWash – they all have a unique combination of wash motions, water temperature, rinse cycles and rinse speeds. It’s awesome to have on hand at home with my laundry because it helps me get the job done that I need quickly and efficiently.

AND! I can run 2 loads at once, a small and a large! It’s laundry washing at the next level! Don’t be put off by the fact that the loads are on the smaller side, they might be small loads, but the LG SideKick is amazingly effective. Just for reference, the LG SideKick holds 3-4 pounds of laundry, that’s 15 underpants, 9 bras, 4 slips and one pair of pajama pants.

SideKick

Honestly, my favorite features include being able to do 2 loads at once and not having to wait for laundry to pile up to wash small loads. I can wash the swimming towels in my main front-load washer and the bathing suits in my LG SideKick at the same time! It’s saving me time and I love that as a busy mom.

LG SideKick

Now is the time to check out the LG SideKick because there’s a deal going on right now!!

Are you ready for this??

Through July 13, you can purchase an LG front-load washer and LG SideKick bundle for $999! This washing system is tremendous, you will not be disappointed!

I would love to win a LG sidekick because it’s just my wife and I, and it takes FOREVER to get a full load of laundry. At least with the sidekick we could do a small load here and there to get the things we need washed more often!

    Michelle B. said:

We need the LG sidekick because often times I need something washed ASAP and can’t wait around for a full load. Sports bras, socks, underwear, gym clothes, swimsuits etcneed to be washed ASAP before the get the FUNK and often times we just don’t have enough clothes dirty to make a full load so we end up wasting water on a partial load.

I actually want this for my mom, with her recent diagnosis with MS – it is hard for her to get around and having to do laundry for 4 people, well that doesn’t make it any easier….this would “lighten her load”.

    Hi Audrey,
Like you, I have an extra large family and it seems like everyone’s need different kinds of care.
There is 9 living with us. Three children ages 8, 10, and 17.
    The rest are adults ages 19, 41, 43, 66, 69, and 84!
We have been done with baby clothes for about 5 years now.
But we are at the other end of the spectrum now, caring for our parents.
My husbands stepfather is 84, unlike you having to potty train, He is becoming untrained 🙁 (if you know what I mean). So we deal with soiled clothes. My mom and mother in-laws clothes. My 17yr. Old son is in Track, and my girls (8 & 10) both cheer and do ballet. We all love to swim. My husband has casual dress attire for work. I have my usual clothing. Plus everything else.

  142. 7.11.16

Ah looks so helpful, and yes sports potty training..etc. got it all. Thank you for these helpful insights.
