I’m a jean shorts girl. I remember making my own when I was in high school. I wanted to get that perfect distress. Oh, how times have changed. I don’t have to spend time making the perfect denim shorts, I can just buy them.
Thank you to the fashion gods.
Recently I was in Boston for a lunch meeting and saw a Abercrombie & Fitch store just staring at me. I haven’t been in one for so long, but I saw some super cute shorts and dresses in the window and I couldn’t help myself – I had to pop in! I swear I was the only one over 30 in there, but I found the BEST STUFF!!
Those denim shorts I’ve been looking for —- found them. (And – if you’ve been following my blog, you know I love plaid! When I saw the plaid shirts all on sale, it was like a bee to honey – I FLEW to the rack!)
Say hello to my Abercrombie & Fitch look…
It’s the perfect relaxed look for a warm summer day.
When I’m wearing my distressed denim shorts, I always like to wear something a little more classic on top. I don’t think wearing short shorts with a tight tank (when you’re 38) is appropriate, so I love finding button downs or lightweight sweaters to top with it!
Such an easy look that I’m (kinda) obsessing over right now!
