Motherhood is the best job on the planet. I feel beyond blessed every single day to be the mother to my William, Alex, Ben, Henry and Victoria. We got them involved in sports very early in life. I grew up a competitive swimmer and my husband grew up a baseball/football/wrestler. Sports is in our blood, and we’re excited to see them falling in love with sports, too.

Being a sports mom isn’t easy. This past winter I had a very personal moment happen on the pool deck for 2 of my sons at their BIGGEST swim meet of the season. William and Ben both swam at their Championship meet and just weren’t on their best times at all throughout the weekend. It was the most difficult thing to stay positive for your child and happy when they were so devastated. My heart broke for them and it was just a very tough weekend. They had worked hard for 6 months for that VERY swim meet and it was so tough to see them not perform their best. We found out 3 days later they both had walking pneumonia. We had NO idea. Every mom knows how hard their child works… we’re there, every step of the way. We’re there for the good, the bad and the ugly.
