It’s something I never truly thought I’d get to do with a little girl.

(Yes, I tried to match my outfits with the boys when they were younger, don’t tell them!)

Since you know fashion is something I love, it has brought me great joy to have a little girl that loves it, too. Styling outfits and taking photos for the blog, it’s one of those things I look forward to doing with her. I wish my work schedule wasn’t so hectic because I would do this every single day if I could!

When I first started taking photos of Victoria in little outfits, she would just go with the flow.

Now she helps me style (and I’m obsessing over this development!). For example, she picked out the pink shirt (which is actually a Minnie Mouse PJ top) underneath her sweater today, as well as her headwrap. It’s become – truly – a dual style session.

With Friday being a little bit on the nicer side weather wise, I thought it would be fun to go outside! This week has been CRAZY with weather. Monday is snowed 8 inches. Tuesday was FREEZING. Wednesday and Thursday it POURED. Finally today the sun is out and I’m totally taking advantage of the weather! I thought it would be fun to grab some easy, but fashionable looks today for us. Jeans are always safe on Fridays. Sweaters are definitely an item that still need to be worn. And – we need comfy on the bottom, so I grabbed some fave styles!

I’m in love with my butterfly sweater from J.Jill and have been wearing it out and about! My 15 year old niece told me she loved it last night, which is like an editor of Vogue putting you on a “hot fashion page” in my book! LOL!! It’s super soft and adorable! Perfect spring item and since I love butterflies, it’s the perfect sweater for me.

Victoria’s sneakers are one of her faves! She was sent these to try out this past winter and with the weather, she hadn’t really had a great opportunity to get some play out of them till about a month ago! I love seeing her in a little pair of sneakers because (as you know) she’s BEYOND active! She never stops! She’s wearing the awesome Encanto Sneaker from KEEN. Bright colors and graphic prints make the Encanto Sneakers adorable for parents and kids! The hook and loop strap with bungee laces makes it easy for toddlers to explore their independence, getting shoes on and off all by themselves. The padded collar, foam footbed and breathable mesh lining show attention to detail on this tiniest of sneakers. They are too cute and really a perfect option for toddlers! I even bought a pair of my niece just like Victoria’s, too! As you can tell, she’s getting some great play and activity out of them!
