Disney World Magic Kingdom

Disney World Magic Kingdom is a magical place for me and my family. It’s a place I dream about on days that I’m feeling overwhelmed with my everyday life. Disney World Magic Kingdom  is my absolute most favorite park to visit when I’m at Disney World. The second I see Cinderella’s Castle, I get goosebumps. It is the most beautiful sight of all to me. It makes me believe in fairy tales, happily-ever-afters and all good things. It’s that one definite photo opp that I make sure I get every single time I visit! ♥

I had a chance to visit Disney World Magic Kingdom while in Orlando for the Zootopia press junket 2 weeks ago. Usually I’m there with my family, so it was different and a completely unique experience being there with friends! Magic Kingdom is definitely the kind of place you can visit with or without kids and still have an incredibly good time. I always tell people that Magic Kingdom is my favorite Disney World park. The attractions, entertainment, dining and experiences are just priceless. Magic Kingdom is such an iconic place and truly embodies Disney World to me. I feel like a kid when I arrive – I’m giddy, excited and filled with happiness.

Disney World Magic Kingdom – Where to Eat

One of the first things I did with my friends Vera and Tammi was head to The Crystal Palace for a delicious Character all-you-can-eat Breakfast Buffet!

Disney World Magic Kingdom- Meet & Greets

We had the chance to meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends as we enjoyed a yummy breakfast!

The Crystal Palace is absolutely gorgeous. It’s inspired by Victorian greenhouses of the late 1800s and brims with light, topiaries and tropical palms—and is an enchanting spot to meet some favorite Disney Friends! Reservations are recommended, but we were able to walk right in. It was a perfect way to start our day!

Disney World Magic Kingdom – Dining Options

Disney World Magic Kingdom

But for me , the biggest and best thing about the Magic Kingdom is having FUN! It’s about bringing out your inner child. It’s about racing to each ride. It’s about laughing and smiling. It’s about being silly and thoroughly just letting yourself go and enjoy the magic! There are over 20+ incredible attractions at Magic Kingdom that will delight you. I have my personal list of favorites that are always my go-to rides while I’m visiting. One of the reasons I thoroughly love the Magic Kingdom is that there are rides for kids of all ages and adults. I truly love that anyone – of any age – can come and find something to do and get excited about with their family!

Disney World Magic Kingdom – RIDES RIDES RIDES

Some of my personal faves while visiting Magic Kingdom…

Tomorrowland SpeedwayPut the pedal to the metal in your very own hot rod and cruise along a scenic miniature motorway.

This was so much fun! My bestie Vera was in front of me and we had a blast staying on course and driving! This is an absolute favorite of my sons, too!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – I had the opportunity to head to Disney World for the press event when this ride first opened! It’s out of this world cool!

You race through the diamond mine from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on a swaying family coaster. I was terrified to ride this because I’m not a lover of drops and dips, but this ride is family-friendly and so much fun! I would ride this all day long! My hope is that my sons get to do it soon!

Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid – My daughter loves this ride because she’s obsessed with Ariel! I enjoyed this with Vera while at Disney World a couple of weeks ago! So much fun!

What I love about this ride is that it’s relaxing and anyone, any age, will appreciate and enjoy. The music, the story, the characters… we’ve know them forever.

This is such a classic ride to enjoy while visiting Disney World.

“It’s a Small World” – OK, this is HANDS DOWN my daughter’s favorite ride of all at Disney World.

She literally watches YouTube videos of this ride over and over and over again. The music and the gorgeous decor and the fabulous way to see all different regions and people… It’s A Small World is awesome! I remember riding this when I was a kid and falling in love with it, so I love seeing my daughter react the very same magical way.

Pirates of the Caribbean – If you’re into pirates, this is the ride for you!
Disney World Magic Kingdom
This is a must-ride at the Magic Kingdom. There’s always a line here, but I’ll tell you what – it’s worth the wait! You will just love this ride and really feel like Jack Sparrow is going to pop right out! This is one of those rides that my sons RUN to when we enter the park!
And – of course – when you’re at Disney World, you need to make sure you experience the other attractions – (as we call them) the Mountains: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I’ll never forget going on Space Mountain for the first time when I was around 10 years old. I went on with my brother Adam and my mother. It was the coolest thing I’d ever experienced! I loved it! There hasn’t been a time since that I haven’t gone on it while at Disney World. The best for me is having my sons see me go on and they get so excited!  There’s just so much to do over the 6 lands at Disney World:  Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Main Street, U.S.A. areas. Bring the magic to your family at Magic Kingdom!

And hold onto your seats for this summer – it’s all about Awaken Summer!!

Disney World Magic Kingdom

Mickey Mouse and company star in Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire, a new musical adventure featuring your favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Tangled and Frozen. A timeless tale of diversity, loyalty and the bond between friends, the show debuts original songs and dance numbers that’ll keep every toe in the house tappin’—you can’t help but sing along!

Hold on to your Mickey ears! From the colorful Festival of Fantasy parade and the Wishes fireworks display to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, delicious tropical dishes at the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen and more, watch as 6 make-believe lands sprinkle an extra pinch of pixie dust to each day!

Not just Magic Kingdom either! Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios all have summer fun for families to get super excited about!!

I’m telling you, it’s the true magic of the Magic Kingdom which makes me love it so much. You come alive. You really show your Disney Side and allow yourself to be a kid again! I love seeing the look on my kids’ faces when they see me do something out of the box. It’s a feeling that is priceless! Magic Kingdom will keep you busy the second you arrive ’til the second you leave. This summer the park will be filled with fun activities and entertainment for your whole family! I love that the magic continues into the night with firework displays, parades, dance parties and welcoming shows.
