Day 30 ~ 31 Haiku in Search of a Voice ~

“Where did the dogs go?”
Asks the sun hovering so
Peacefully and low.

Early last evening, in the deeper grass of Spring before the first mowing, I couldn’t help but notice the tennis balls that 2 of my granddogs had been playing with all day. The sun was hanging low, just sort of hovering over the scene, as if to enjoy the last moments of daylight. Everything was quiet and peaceful, but I could still feel the raucous play of Tansy and Jethro. I think the sun was wishing they’d come back, too! I saw a Haiku in Search of a Voice.
