Day 24 ~ 31 Haiku in Search of a Voice ~
Brushed in blues and blacks
A masterpiece Moon appeared
Painted in the sky.
Pupsitting for our 3 grandpups has Pops and I up very early each morning, and by “early” I mean 5:00 am. Like clockwork. They are active Lab-mix dogs, ages 4, 7, 14, who love to romp and run and play. Well, maybe not so much our 14-year old, who loves to explore, walk and spectate! Up this early means watching the Moon fade into day, especially a Full Moon, and seeing the Sun rise. It’s a brand new miracle every single day. On this particular morning, all of nature was set in glorious motion for the most beautiful Moon over the harbor at this early hour. As I let the dogs roam and play in our fenced yard, I watched the great movement of the clouds, the Moon and its reflection in the water. The tiny, twinkling lights of civilization were its audience. And me. I felt that I was watching a masterpiece of a painting being created. Right before my eyes. Or was it a Haiku in Search of a Voice?
