Nesquik Makes a Child’s Dream Come True #Goosebumps

When you’re a child, your dreams are boundless. I love talking to my kids about their dreams and aspirations for the “someday” out there in the world. My 11 year old William would love to be President… my 10 year old Alex would love to play football… my 8 year old Ben would love to play baseball… my 7 year old Henry wants to be a chef and my 2 year old daughter, well… the best I could get is that she wants to be a ballerina.

Nesquik did something pretty incredible recently with 8 year old Ana Sofía and it truly warmed my heart.

Nesquik knows that parents more than anyone know that children have an amazing ability to see the world from an adventurous and imaginative lens, and that it’s important to encourage them to see the world with endless possibility. One mom, Paola Silva from Mexico, with the help of Nestlé® Nesquik® got to watch her eight-year-old daughter, Ana Sofía, experience her dream of being a director. Ana Sofía used her imagination to turn an epic idea into a beautiful and daring creation.

Nesquik put Ana Sofía at the helm of the “Daredevil” TV commercial shot in Mexico in the world’s largest bullring. Under the guidance of the lead director, Ana was encouraged to bring in her own ideas, orchestrate the actors and share a kid’s point-of-view to the entire concept. Check out the making of “Daredevil,” which brings to life in the simplest way how children see the world and helps remind parents that to a child the possibilities in life are as big as any adventure they can dream up…

Incredible, right?

I had goosebumps up and down my arms while watching!

Make sure you mark your calendars for February 29th, this is when the final TV commercial will begin airing.

It’s funny, when I think of Nesquik, I get fond memories of my childhood spent at my Nana’s house. When I was a child, the Nesquik containers were tin… and I used to love taking the back of a spoon to prop open the cap. My Nana ALWAYS had Nesquik stocked in her cabinets for us, always! Important to note for parents… when Nesquik powder and 8 ounces of low-fat milk are combined, it provides 9 essential vitamins and minerals, 8 grams of protein, 40% of daily value of calcium and 25% of daily value of Vitamin D and all with less added sugar than before.

Happy Tuesday everyone! 🙂
