Kid Style: Glitter Boots and Tutus

Happy Wednesday!

Just back from my Disney Zootopia Press Trip last night, so this morning was all about GIRL TIME! I got to spend some time with the boys last night once I got home, but I didn’t get to see my Victoria (I got in around 11PM). All morning she’s been following me around like a puppy and I love it! She’s my little sidekick and I really, really missed her when I was away! When I called yesterday afternoon to check-in, my husband said she was at the door saying, “I go to Disney with Mommy, Daddy!” I had an amazing time away, but I love coming home and seeing my family.

So… this morning, we played dress up! It’s been raining on and off here all morning, but we were able to find a little time to head outside without a downpour! Today was all about her glitter boots and ballerina tutu! She loves sparkle and glitz… so I thought it would be fun to have her wear her “Lights, Camera, Sparkle!” sweatshirt, too!

Oh, yes! Every girl needs some glitter on a rainy day!

As you guys know, Victoria suffered a mini concussion 2 weeks ago. She’s doing 100% better, but it scared the daylights out of me! Literally… I didn’t sleep for 2 nights. The doctor told us to keep her laying low for 2 weeks, so today’s the first day she’s “cleared” to play (or actually have me not panicked to play!). And so, like a bee to honey, she saw puddles and wanted to jump RIGHT ON IN!
