The Polar Express.
It’s my favorite holiday story. It’s so special and so timeless and so incredible.
Last night I had the opportunity to head on the Black Valley Polar Express in Rhode Island! I was able to attend with my parents, Alex, Ben, Henry and Victoria. William was swimming finals at his Holiday Classic Swim Meet with Matt, so I was happy to have my parents with me to enjoy in the festivities!
As soon as we arrived at the Depot Station in Woonsocket, we entered into a winter wonderland! Snow falling, music playing and you were able to meet and take photos with the Train Conductor and Chef and Engineer! It got everyone into the spirit before we even entered the train!
As we were boarding the train, the magic of snow began to fall upon us all… it was pure magic for my kids! And they couldn’t have been more excited than when they saw there were Polar Express “light sabers!” My father couldn’t resist!
We all got the GOLDEN TICKETS!!
There was singing and dancing and hot cocoa and the magic of everyone coming together and getting excited about Christmas!!
The best part for me was seeing the true MAGIC of Santa… I love this photo my mom captured with Santa and Henry!
And then… one of my other faves… Victoria spotting Santa on the Polar Express. She was a little scared, so stayed near me – but love the wonder in her eyes right here. She’s captured by him, but not enough to hang out!
The night was just magical! I loved seeing my sons having so much fun!
I had the most wonderful time last night soaking up the holiday at the Polar Express with my family! With the hustle and bustle of work and shopping and prepping for parties/events… there was something really special about pressing pause and just enjoying the beauty of the simplicity of the Polar Express story with my kids.
It’s all about believing. Such a great night.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! The Polar Express is so magical!
