Head to Disney on Ice!

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice on the 23rd with our whole family! When the boys were little – I remember taking them to their 1st Disney on Ice… it was right around the time that Nemo and Toy Story were GIGANTIC hits, so they were mesmerized by the songs and the skaters. I loved the magic on the ice for them, it was so cool and so much fun to see their faces light up.

This year, it was all about Victoria. As she’s getting older – she’s becoming more in love and enthralled with Princesses. She absolutely loves Belle, Cinderella, Tiana, Snow White, Rapunzel… all of these ladies are “her ladies!” When we were invited to head to a local press event for Disney on Ice in Providence at the Dunkin Donuts Center – I JUMPED at the chance because I knew she’d love, love, love it.

I was right.

The second she was Mickey and Minnie, she was head over heels. It was beyond cute. She truly was not scared or anything… she just wanted to meet them. It was really adorable.

And then the ice show! The skaters were terrific… the music, the lights, the audience… everything was perfect. My recommendation if you’re heading to a Disney on Ice show… 1) Get there 30 minutes early, it really does help build the anticipation 2) Before you go, start catching up on the Disney movies 3) Sing as many of the Disney songs that you can find 4) Indulge and buy at least 1 trinket. They’re expensive, yes… but they’re worth it 5) Pack snacks!!

Make sure you keep yourself update on when they’re coming to your town. You’re going to have a blast with your family!!

We’ve not been for a few years, but would love to go one last time before my younger two are too old.
