31 Days of Gratefulness – Day 2

Grateful Quote

I’m sharing 31 things I’m grateful for throughout the month of December. As I said yesterday, I’ve always been a “glass is 1/2 full kind of girl,” so I’m truly excited to be able to share what it is in my life that I am grateful for and feel blessed to have in my life. I have always truly believed that you can’t be happy in life if you’re not grateful. The happiest people are the ones that are the most grateful for what they have. It’s not about money. It’s not able the biggest house or the best car… it’s about true, utter happiness. It’s a contentedness about life. It’s a way that I truly strive to be… always. It’s not easy sometimes, but I will say – I grew up with 2 parents who were always happy and grateful, so I knew as a child – I was impacted by that immensely.

Today I’m grateful for something pretty simple, but it truly makes the biggest difference in my life in the morning.

My husband ALWAYS makes me a morning cup of coffee. We have 2 coffee makers in our house – Kuerig and a Mr. Coffee Machine. At night before bed, my husband always preps the machine so in the morning, it’s just one press of a button and it’s done! The second I smell that coffee dripping, it’s heaven! If you’re a coffee lover, you know how incredible that first breath of coffee smells in the morning! It’s addicting!

Like I said, I know this is a simple one – but it’s something I’m grateful that he does for me every morning. It means a lot and it’s something I look forward to. We even brought out our holiday mugs!

So to my husband, Matthew – I love you. That coffee you bring me in the morning is much more than just a cup of coffee… it’s something I love so much. It’s simple. It’s perfect. And I’m grateful.

What are you grateful for!? Share it with me throughout the month!

Coffee is definitely a great thing to be grateful for. I am grateful that my husband has worked so hard this year to buy our family a brand new home!
