Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday. I don’t hate it, I just don’t love it – even when I was a kid. I always hated being scared of people dressed up in crazy costumes. I always hated walking up to dark houses to say “Trick or Treat!” LOL… I’m so not trying to be a downer here, but I really never liked Halloween until I became a mother. Then I saw the true FUN in Halloween. Costumes bought and prepped weeks in advance. My kids getting giddy all day until it’s time to walk around and finally get CANDY!! It’s a whole new ballgame when you have kids.

My son are hysterical when it comes to Halloween. They are obsessed with the holiday. They plan and plot which candy routes to take. They invite their best friends to come trick or treating with us. It’s a true holiday.

This year was a little different for us. With Victoria being 2 1/2… she’s “gets” Halloween. She picked out her own costume a few weeks ago – Super Girl. She’s been doing her Super Girl pose for the last couple of weeks and telling everyone who she is going to be. We’ve been having so much fun seeing HER get excited because last year she was just in a stroller, not getting to enjoy.

I have to say, this was the best Halloween ever for us. The kids were perfect. The company was amazing (our best friend’s Robyn and Louby). The weather was amazing. And Victoria, she was just adorable. From sun up till sun down, the day was aweosome!!
