Panorama by Natera letting Pregnancy and Gender Reveals come sooner!

I have had the great blessing to be able to announce 7 pregnancies, unfortunately 2 of my pregnancies ended in miscarriage, but I still had the great blessing to announce that I was expecting 7 times. I’ve also had the great blessing to announce 5 gender reveals! Each announcement and gender reveal was different and special in its own unique and beautiful way. As you can imagine, after having 4 boys… the 5th gender reveal was probably the most memorable because EVERYONE was anxious to know what we were having!

As every parents knows, the second you find our you’re expecting… you suddenly just want to share the news with everyone! It’s a time filled with different emotions – I remember feeling excited, nervous, scared and anxious all at the same time. Believe me, even on my 5th baby… I still felt the range of emotions!

When I became pregnant with our 5th baby, it was right after suffering a miscarriage. My sons knew that I had lost a baby, so they were VERY anxious for us to have another baby. Since we found out we were expecting right around the holidays, we decided to share the news with the boys as we were decorating our Christmas tree…

As you can tell, the boys were surprised, shocked and beyond HAPPY!! They were getting a sibling!!

Since we had so much fun videotaping the pregnancy surprise for the boys, we thought we’d do the same with the gender reveal. We couldn’t BELIEVE it was a GIRL!!!!! So I thought it would be fun to put some pink balloons in a box for the boys to open on up!!!! It worked beautifully!!

I’m not kidding, this video still makes me cry. I love watching it now from the perspective of seeing how much they love their sister. I love knowing how excited they were… and seeing my William cry with tears of joy. It just gets me every single time. I love it.

I have to admit, one of my favorite things to do is search through YouTube and find pregnancy announcements and gender reveals! They truly warm my heart. It’s pretty incredible how couples are getting increasingly creative with pregnancy and gender announcements… especially on social media! As you can tell, we decided to share everything on YouTube! Social media wasn’t as BIG 7 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with our 4th baby, so I have really enjoyed having it in my life with my youngest child. We thought it would be fun for everyone to see the reactions and each video has over 20,000 views! We also announced on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and my blog, too.

But for me – YouTube has been the most fun to go back and see and replay over and over and over again.

The most amazing thing to me is now that you can find out important information about your pregnancy as early as 9 WEEKS with Panorama Prenatal Testing by Natera. Panorama is a DNA screening test that can tell parents important information about their pregnancy. You can find out if your baby is at risk for having Down syndrome or other chromosomal abnormalities. Panorama can also tell you the gender of their baby as early as 9 weeks. Non-invasive and highly accurate, Panorama has the lowest false positive rate of any prenatal screening test for the commonly screened chromosomal abnormalities, trisomies 21, 18 and 13. Imagine knowing all this as early as nine weeks into pregnancy using a simple blood draw.

I love modern technology!

It’s truly amazing.
