Tips on How to Keep a Safe Home

National Poison Prevention Week just happened last week(March 15th – 21st).  As a mom of 5, I know first-hand the importance of making sure you keep a safe house all year long.  In light of the fact that 90% of poisonings occur in the home, it’s important that you make your home a safe environment to reduce the risk of accidents.  I wanted to make sure I did a reminder post today, even after National Poison Prevention Week to keep it top of mind of moms, dads and caregivers alike.

Rosie Pope, best known for her Bravo reality show Pregnant in Heels, shared her smart and practical tips for keeping your home safe and talking about keeping laundry pacs “Up, Up and Away” for National Poison Prevention Week.  It’s beyond important to keep Seal pacs up, store pacs up, and keep pacs away from your kids. Much like many other household cleaning products, laundry pacs need to be handled with great care to prevent unintended exposure.

Tide & Gain have teamed up with Rosie Pope to help parents across the country create safe (homes and) laundry rooms.  I’m excited to share with you Rosie’s tips… my advice, print this out and keep it in a place that you can refer back to you and constantly check-in with!
