Kinsa Review: World’s First Smartphone Thermometer #MomLove

**Review by our NYC Editor Valerie Vazquez!!

Kinsa equals Genius in my book!!!!

It is the world’s first smartphone thermometer and family health tracking app. I am no stranger to high fevers as my daughter suffered from chronic ear infections and fevers that would spike throughout the day. Kinsa is innovative, affordable and simply put a necessity for every modern household. The Kinsa thermometer allows you can connect it to your phone to log and track your fever history (and related symptoms), and share the results say with your doctor or just for your own record keeping.

You simply download the free companion Kinsa app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play you then connect one end of the FDA-cleared Kinsa into the headphone jack of your phone. The other end is what goes into your mouth, under your arm or into a rectum. It is simple, accurate
and fast with a read time of 10 seconds and an animated screen to entertain kids and keep them still. No batteries are required. It is so easy to clean and works with any disposable probe covers for sanitary purposes.

You can then track the illness process, document symptoms with photos and share data with your doctor. In the near future, they expect to add an update that allows users the ability to see the health around you by joining a private group to see what illness is going around your school or neighborhood.

Kinsa is definitely the buzz in addition to being on USA Today, they have been featured on Good Morning America, the Today Show (3 times), ABC, and have won numerous consumer awards including “Best of Baby” by the Bump and the Gold Medal by the National Parenting Publications
Awards. It is truly a must-have for every family!

It is available on Amazon, CVS at Apple stores and on their website www.kinsahealth.com.
