A Kiss is a Kiss is a Kiss?

A Kiss is a Kiss is a Kiss?

Culture, religion, tradition often dictate the give-and-take of a KISS as a sign of greeting, friendship or respect; but when a grandchild begins to acknowledge the KISS as a symbol of a LOVE that transcends all time and space and energy, the KISS becomes magical.

The tenderest of touch, I think, is a tiny kiss on a grandchild’s face… cheek, nose, forehead and, of course, the oh-so-gentle nose-to-nose variety and lipstick kisses.

Or the thought, as French writer Guy de Maupassant expressed to eloquently, “The kiss itself is immortal. It travels from lip to lip, century to century, from age to age.”

I like this thought; thank you very much, Guy!

(Not that I don’t appreciate some recent research indicating that KISSING reduces stress and lowers high blood pressure. Hmmmmm.)

But I’m sticking with the Immortality of the Kiss – the Memory of the Kiss – the Travel of the Kiss from Generation to Generation and from Age to Age.

Or, simply – the Magic!
