My mornings go a little something like this:
6AM – Wake up and work on blog
6:30AM – Victoria wakes up
7AM – Wake up the boys and get them moving for school
7:30AM – Everyone downstairs and breakfast is made/lunches made/ backpacks finished being packed / coats, hats, gloves, boots on
8:15AM – Lining all the boys up at the bus stop for school
It’s a mad-dash in the morning, putting it lightly.
When it comes to ME getting ready, there really isn’t much time. I LITERALLY only have 5 minutes (or less) to get my makeup on. Usually when I’m doing my makeup I have Victoria or my Henry in the bathroom with me hanging on me or asking me 100 questions. It’s just part of my beauty-regimen normal.
I get it. I know it. I accept it.
And so, I make it work.

I am all about the five minute face. I even did a video about it. One of the things I do is keep a full makeup kit in my car, because I often don’t have time to apply my face until right I drop the kids at dropoff circle. My kit includes a CC cream, blush, mascara and lipcolor. I like to use a shade with some real color to wake my face up, and my current favorites from CVS are Revlon Colorburst matte lip balms. They are lightweight and hydrating and last forever and the colors are amazing!
