There are few things more exciting than marrying your best friend. I can say that my road to the altar hasn’t exactly been typical but it’s perfect for me. Bobby and I were high school sweethearts who lost contact with each other and literally went over 14 years until we reconnected via a Facebook friend recommendation (thank you Mr. Zuckerberg).

From the very moment we met up for a casual dinner date to “catch up” I knew it would be forever. We quickly picked up where we left off 14 years earlier! Our love story may sound like a Lifetime movie but it’s had its challenges, blending families is never easy. This September we welcomed our son Tristan and with his birth we officially became a family. As we were released from the hospital, Bobby got on one knee and asked if I would marry him. As I prepare for the next chapter in my life…for the day we become husband and wife I knew that the only place I needed to register was Target! Oh yes – Target Gift Registry Wedding was a need! A place that we can be yourself, together.
Target is my happy place, it’s our happy place. Thankfully, the Mr. is more than willingly will indulge me in my weekly Target runs as we walk aisle by aisle spotting things we need for our home.

I also found the starter registry a wonderful resource for every bride to be! The recommendations truly are a great starting point as the registry process itself can be overwhelming. Bobby and I walked into our local Target ready to get the distance of the registry expert and take our 1st journey together as husband and wife!
We started out in the Kitchen section where my 1st pick was the
KitchenAid stand mixer in empire red! I must confess that in that moment I had visions of baking cakes, making my own pasta and kneading
dough for homemade pizza! I was going to tap into my domestic goddess
with the help of this one appliance.

Truly some of our favorite date night memories are the nights where we
cook together as a couple, wine in hand and music playing. There is
something so rewarding about sharing these moments together as we try
new recipes and savor our meal. A glass of Riseling is a prerequisite
as I cook all of my meals but so are so relaxing tunes which is why we

The Mr. knew exactly what he wanted for his top pick. The Keurig 2.0 the Coffee Maker Brewing System with Carafe. There isn’t a day that he
doesn’t use his Keurig but Carafe is a game changer for us as we love to entertain and very frequently have guests over our house.
We registered for all the traditional items such as bedding, flatware, towels, serving platters and others. However, we also registered for some non traditional items such as a new DSLR Camera to photograph our memories as a family!
We added board games since we established FUN Friday’s in our house where we unplug and spend quality time together as a unit.
