What to Do with your Kids on New Year’s Eve

Things to Do on New Year's Eve

New Year’s Eve is always a fun day and night! I love the idea of new beginnings and celebrating and rocking in a fun (and hopefully amazing) New Year! Before I became a mother, my New Year’s Eve was a night of dancing with friends, heading to fun parties and staying up ultra late and toasting at midnight with the people closest to me.

When I became a mom… well, my New Year’s Eve changed a bit. I’ve never wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve without my kids, so me and my husband have always found ways to make it special for all of us. This year, with 5 kids… ages 10, 9, 7, 6 and 18 months, and inviting over an additional 7 more, we’ve really been thinking of some ways to make it special for the kids. They’re old enough to understand that it’s a New Year’s celebration, so it’s cool to be able to really hone in on that. As me and my husband we trying to think of some cool things to do for all the kids coming to our house, I realized my list was getting longer and longer and I wanted to make sure I shared it on my blog because I know I’m not alone in the celebrating New Year’s Eve with my kids.
