We’re in full swing with school.
This year we have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. This is the first time ever all the boys have been in school together at the same time, full day.
The second you walk into my house you can tell that school is in session. There’s 4 backpacks hanging on hooks (with books and folders hanging out of them). There’s 4 lunch packs on the counter lined up and ready to be filled. There’s 4 sweatshirts folded, right next to dozens of shoes all brand new and shiny that were ready for the school hallways.
Oh, yes. School is back in session. Believe it or not, the WHOLE McClelland family was ready for school to start again. The boys were excited to be back with their friends. We were excited to have the boys back in school full day and get back to a regular schedule.
The one thing that we’re getting back into groove with is the back to school lunch time and after school snack time. The boys love to bring their lunches to school, which means my husband and I – each morning – are racing through trying to get lunches made and packed away. And then there’s after school snack time with the boys. In the summer, we’re always so busy and on-the-go, that we don’t regularly stock our cabinets with lots of easy lunch and snack foods. During the school year we HAVE to make sure we’re FULLY stocked.
ALDI is a fabulous destination for me to shop at because you’re getting great food at great prices. As a mom of 5, I appreciate and love this! ALDI stores offer the customer over 1,400 of the most commonly purchased grocery and household products in the most common size – in a smaller, more manageable environment designed with sustainable, long-term savings in mind. More than 90 percent of ALDI products are ALDI exclusive brands – each produced to meet or exceed the quality of national brand names. All of their exclusive brand food products are backed by a Double Back Guarantee, which replaces the product AND refunds the customer’s money if they’re not completely satisfied.
I literally live 3 miles from an ALDI, so I’m ALWAYS there, stocking up on milk, bread, eggs and snack essentials. I know what the boys love, so it’s easy for me to find the items, so I can pop-in and pop-out! I love that I can grab a cart full of groceries and not even spend over $40! It’s absolutely amazing.
I went shopping for some lunch essentials for the boys and some snack food essentials last night at ALDI and grabbed all of these awesome treats for the kids.
I’m excited to share our FAVE ALDI ESSENTIALS ROUND-UP!! Each one of my guys helped me out with their FAVE snack!!!
My Henry LOVES SAVORITZ Saltine Crackers. I will always pack him 6 of them (because that’s how old he is and he loves that I do that!). He loves to put jelly on them, too.
My Benjamin LOVES SAVORITZ Cheese Baked Crackers. This little guy could polish a box off if I let him! These are always in his lunch and his top snack for after school time, too! I buy these in BULK!
