My days are never the same. One day I’m working at home all day, attached to my desk and my laptop. The next day I’m volunteering at my sons’ school and rushing them to activities. And then the next day I’m off to shoot a segment at our local news station, with a back-to-back meetings all afternoon… capping off the day with a date with my husband.

I actually shot these photos on a day where I had to go to my sons’ school in the morning for a quick meeting, then off to shoot a segment and then to a work meeting in downtown Providence. I knew my day was going to be jam-packed through 5:30PM, so I needed my style to reflect a business working day.
I felt comfortable and professional in my dressbarn roz & ali Smart Fit Pants, cropped fit blazer, white tank, bold necklace and I added a pop of color with my heels (just for some fashion fun!).
Since it was a late day, and my husband was working that day in Providence, too… he asked my mom and dad to babysit and planned for a nice dinner with us downtown. I jumped at the opportunity!! A quiet, romantic dinner with my husband is something I will always get excited to do!! Since I didn’t want to go looking oh-so-professional, I just brought a different top with me and changed quickly.
I love a monochromatic look, so I grabbed one of my favorite silk black tanks. I loved being able to still layer it with the blazer because it got a little chilly that night. A quick change of my hair and I was good to go!
