Wordless Wednesday: The Kissing Tower at Hersheypark

I remember VAGUELY going to Hersheypark as a child. I was 6 years old and I was terrified to go on ANY roller coasters. I do remember waiting with my mom and sister while the boys (my dad and 2 brothers) all went on the Sooper Dooper Looper.

I have to be honest, I don’t remember much else.

Thank goodness my parents were those people who took tons of photos and have saved them throughout the years.

When my mom found out we were heading to Hersheypark, she spent all last weekend going through her photo albums. She “hit” the motherload and found all of the photos from our 1984 family vacation.

There was one photo in particular that jumped out at me, the one in front of The Kissing Tower. I had JUST taken a photo with all of the kids in front of it when my mom sent the 1984 version my way.

Little did I know 30 years later I’d be in the same spot with my own kids!

Pretty cool.

Love that Hersheypark has remained very much the same throughout all the years, make it very special and filled with even more memories.

Disclosure: I’m one of the 2014 Sweet Ambassador’s. The trip – hotel and lodging were covered, all opinions are 100% my own.
