Victoria’s Baptism

I was very late in Baptizing the boys. I waited till they were older to do it (they were 3, 4, 5 and 6), which was something I have always regretted. I never got to dress them up in handsome/gorgeous Baptism clothing. I never got to have a true celebration honoring each of their separate Baptisms. We did a joint one with the 4 boys, which was special… but it was a little different having them older.

With Victoria, I wanted to go as traditional as possible.

Yesterday we celebrated her beautiful Holy Baptism into the Catholic Church with family and friends. It was beautiful. It was special. It was everything I dreamed it would be and more.

My mother had bought Victoria a gorgeous gown from a local boutique in Rhode Island called Teddy Bearskins. Her pink booties were extremely special for me because my Nana was in the middle of knitting them for a baby right before she got sick. She was only able to finish one bootie and the 1/2 of the other. A dear family friend finished the rest of the bootie for me. My Victoria looked gorgeous yesterday. It was beyond special for me to see.

The day was perfectly laid out in photos from our family and friends… you can see the love in the photos. I felt very blessed yesterday to have such amazing people there to celebrate with us and for my daughter!! Victoria was such a good girl, too!
