Spring Allergy Tip: Try New Febreze Allergen Reducer Refresher

Spring allergies are something I have been used to since I was a child. Every time April rolls around for me, I prepare myself for allergy season. It’s not always pretty – my eyes get red, my nose gets stuffy – it always looks like I’m battling a seasonal cold!

My mom is the same exact way.

And… out of 5 kids, 2 of my sons are just like me, too.

Allergies hit us, and hit us hard.

It’s tough because SPRING should just be about warmer weather, shorts and tees, spring cleaning and finally getting to be outside for most of the day. For me and my 2 little guys, it’s also about allergies.

For us, it’s indoor and outdoor allergies. There are 2 “big” culprits for us – pollen and dust mites. They get us the most. Pollen from outside and dust mites from indoors.

The thing is, I know I’m not alone. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), approximately 50 million Americans suffer from all types of allergies and experts agree that seasonal allergies are starting earlier, and that the pollen count is on the rise each year.

I’m always looking for products that I can use to help us reduce the level of our allergies each spring. I started using 2 new products from Febreze a couple of weeks ago that I just REALLY love because I’m seeing it work for us in our home. They’re called Febreze Allergen Reducer Fabric Refresher and Febreze Allergen Reducer Air Refesher. I’m telling you, I love them – and they work as easy Spring Allergy Tips for anyone who suffers from seasonal allergies!

Febreze Allergy Reducer Refresher

Febreze Allergen Reducer Refreshers eliminates odors and reduces up to 95% of inanimate allergens from pollen, pet dander, and dust mite matter that cause discomfort when breathed in from the air. Its Trap & Lock technology keeps allergens on soft fabrics, such as couches, curtains and carpets, from becoming airborne. The Febreze actually acts as a net that flexes over the allergen particles, trapping them on the fabric until I vacuum.

They’re simple, simple, simple to use. All you have to do is squeeze the trigger on the bottle and spray on your fabrics and carpets. You can actually spray any soft surfaces you have around your home, which believe me… I do!

Easy as can be.

I love finding products that have a benefit for me and my family. Allergy season is not something I look forward to each year, but it’s products like this that make it THAT much more bearable and help me out.

If you’re someone like me and love a little fresh scent throughout your house, you’ll love the Clean Splash scent. If you’re not a fan of a scent, there’s an Unscented option, too.
