Best sunglasses for face shape

Sunglasses.

They are where it’s AT right now.

The sun is here. The flip flops are out. The tanks and tees and in my closet. The shorts have been washed and folded. It’s getting to be closer and closer to the summer, it’s absolutely that time to get yourself sunglasses to protect your eyes and just be (I’m going to say it!) fashionable!

I’m partnered with Foster Grant this season as one of their Ambassadors and I couldn’t be more excited! I love Foster Grant sunglasses for me, my husband and my kids. The best part is that they are extremely fashionable and that the prices are incredible!

So what are the Best Glasses for Face Shape?

This question is something that moms ask me ALL THE TIME. Believe it or not, it does matter. Your face shape definitely impacts what kinds of sunglasses will look best and feel the best on your face. Foster Grant has shared with me their tips on choosing the right sunglasses for your face. You will love these tips and hopefully find it much easier to shop for your spring/summer Foster Grant sunglasses!

Best Glasses for SQUARE face

If you have a face with a strong jawline, square chin or broad forehead – try sunglasses that are rounded or oval in contrast to the angular lines of your face

Best Glasses For Oval Face Female

An oval face has mostly balanced proportions. The chin is slightly narrower than the forehead and the cheekbones tend to be high. Lucky you! Most sunglasses shapes are flattering on an oval face. Square, rectangular and geometric shapes will add angles to the soft curves of your face.

Best sunglasses for ROUND face

Width and length proportions are typically the same with a round face. Avoid round sunglasses. Look for angular, geometric shapes that sharpen facial features. Rectangular and horizontal styles will make faces appear longer and thinner.

Good advice, right?

Now go find some amazing sunglasses!!

Disclosure: I am working with Foster Grant as an Ambassador.
