For days I’m working from home and don’t have ANYWHERE to be, I have a mom uniform.
My “uniform” is always the same. ALWAYS.
My hair is up… and I have on my North Face hoodie, black fleece pants and black socks.
It’s important to have your “uniform” or “go-to” outfit that makes you feel comfortable. I know when I’m at home and just tooling around the house working and taking care of the kids, I don’t want to have on anything dressy. I want to be in my relaxed clothes. You know, the clothes you kind of don’t want the outside world to see you in. 🙂
I bring this up today because when I was picking my sons up from school last week, one of the mom’s said to me, “Wow! I never see you dressed down!”
OK… maybe so, but the reality is – I’m not dressed up every single day. At home, it’s the THIS Audrey (the one in the photo above). I love to just chill and hang out in my “uniform” and enjoy every single second.
What’s YOUR Mom Uniform?
It’s funny… when my sons see me dressed up, they’re like – “Ugh… Mom! Where are you going!?”
Oh… the Life of our fashion as a mom! 🙂
