It’s vacation week. This means that my sons get 7 full days of relaxing, watching movies, watching TV, playing video games and playing in the snow. They’re too young to have homework to do… so a vacation week from school is truly that – a vacation.

My husband and I have taken this week to “tidy” up the house. The house has needed an overhaul for a very long time and it’s finally awesome to have the time to do it.

We’ve been hanging in the basement (a.k.a. the playroom) organizing boxes, cleaning shelves, clearing out toys and just going through tons of stuff. Victoria and the boys have been hanging with us while we clean… we’re doing our thing and they’re doing their thing.

This afternoon the boys decided to have a wrestling match. Two on two. William and Henry on Alex and Ben. Speaking frankly, the teams were extremely even and they were having a blast pretending they were from the WWE.

I couldn’t help but grab this photo of her while she watched the boys. The stare is a combination of “what are they doing?” and “why are they doing this?”

I love it because I do the same stare.

Boys will be boys. Girls will be girls.
