Bold and Fearless in 2014.
Every single day I will be doing SOMETHING bold and fearless. They will range from small to big… but regardless, I’m stepping our of my comfort zone and just doing it. I’m not looking to change the world, I’m just looking to have some fun and do some incredible things in 2014.
The way to start anything is at the beginning. Today is my beginning.
Today I chopped my hair 4 inches. Not earth shattering. Not too crazy. Not too much… but for me, this is BIG. I haven’t cut my hair in a VERY long time. I’m all about the touch-up, just a quick trim. Ever since 1995 when I had my hair CHOPPED by a disgruntled employee at a chic salon in Providence… I’ve been terrified of scissors near my hair.
Today – my hairstylist and good friend Leah from La La Luxe Salon – did it. We colored my hair darker and we chopped the back (which totally needed it because it was SO dead and damaged back there!). It’s hair. It’s JUST hair. It will grow back. I can’t believe I was even worried/scared/fearful of doing anything different with my hair.
Comfort zone… adios! Here comes 2014!

I literally have not been to the salon since before I was pregnant. I NEED a haircut desperately. When I do, I’m definitely going bold. I’m looking to get rid of nearly 8 inches!
