Home Appliances: GE Cafe Model Fridge Features – Advanced Filtration System

I have partnered with GE and working with them in trying out their Cafe French Door Model fridge and seeing how it stands up to our family of 7, and what we absolutely love about it. When it comes to a fridge for your home, they are not all created equal, so it’s amazing to see one that truly stands out from the pack.

When it comes to the Cafe Model fridge from GE, there are MANY features that genuinely dazzle me. I love when a company creates a product to make someone’s life easier, more convenient and more practical. Being a mom of 5… I’m even more into the features that will make my life easier! 🙂 Every little bit helps, and it’s something I look for specifically when making purchases for our home.

One feature that I fell in love with from the start was the Cafe’s Advanced Filtration System. GE’s exclusive filtration system is the only refrigerator filter tested and verified to remove 98% of 5 trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice.

I love this because of 5 reasons in particular:

1. I make my daughter’s bottles with the water
2. I make my sons’ lemonade with the water
3. I fill all of the water bottles for sports and activities with this water
4. My husband and I use this water when we make coffee.
5. I use this water when I’m making oatmeal and soup for the boys.

My FAMILY uses this water and I want to make sure the water is clean. Plain and simple. Gone are the days of big, bulky purifiers in the fridge… now it’s all taken care of, right from my fridge.

I personally LOVE this feature because it’s one that keeps my family healthy. To me, there’s nothing (nothing) better than that.

Disclosure: GE sent me the Cafe Model for review
