Bumps & Babies: Victoria’s a Tommee Tippee Bottle Girl

Bumps & Babies: Victoria’s a Tommee Tippee Bottle Girl

Victoria is now 5 weeks old.

In all honesty, I don’t know where the time has gone. It has literally just flown by… and too fast!

As I’ve gotten into the groove of having my baby girl at home and fully immersing myself back into baby mode, I wanted to share with you some of the baby products that we’re using and loving. Or… I should actually say, that Victoria is using and loving. As every mom knows, it’s what your baby takes to that works and it’s something you hold onto VERY tightly. 🙂 If she’s happy, I’m happy.

I’ve been getting a ton of questions from people asking me if I’m breastfeeding or not. Unfortunately the same thing that happened with my boys happened with Victoria. I just wasn’t able to produce enough milk. This time around I was emotionally prepared for what might happen… it was devastating to hear this news when I had the boys, with Victoria – I think I knew it was going to happen, so I handled it much better. We went right to formula and have been very lucky that she’s taking it so well and so quickly (it wasn’t like that with William and Benjamin, it look us a few tries to find something they’d actually take without spitting it right back up!).

That all being said… with formula, you need bottles. When it comes to finding the perfect bottle, it can be tough for moms. There are so many out there and you just get overwhelmed with all the messaging and all the hoopla. For Victoria, we went right to Tommee Tippee. I had done research like you can’t believe and then was lucky enough to start working with Tommee Tippee this spring. I was just astonished as to the technology and innovation and passion that went into each and every product. It was no surprise to me that when I popped Victoria’s first bottle into her little mouth that she took to it instantly.

Her bottle of choice from Tommee Tippee?

The Added Comfort Feeding Bottle… I had chosen this one for her because the new added comfort range from closer to nature is specially designed to help reduce air bubbles in the milk and to encourage a good latch-on at the nipple to help reduce the risk of baby ingesting air during feeding.

It works like a charm. She’s 5 weeks and we haven’t had one (NOT ONE!) issue!

Other amazing features:

Unique tube and value system to provide optimum vending during feeding
Unique, easy-latch-on nipple shape that promotes continuous feeding
Soft, natural-feel silicone nipple to make it easier to switch between breast and bottle
Easy-hold bottle with slow-flow nipple
Bottle compatible only with Closer to Nature Added Comfort nipples (not Closer to Nature Easi-Vent nipples)
BPA-free

I’m telling you, I am in love with this bottle. To see how easy Victoria has taken to it has been amazing. I’ve been on the other end where it hasn’t been easy with other bottle brands for the boys and it’s beyond difficult for a parent because you just want what’s best for your baby.

I HIGHLY recommend this bottle for newborns and babies.

Disclosure: Working with Tommee Tippee, all opinions are 100% my own.
